Accredited LEVEL 2 CPD- Programme Title : Dyslexia Awareness, Dyslexia Screening and Support

3 day course Accredited by the Open College Network (OCN) Level 2

Open to Teachers, SENCo and TA’s

Obtain a recognised CPD Level 2 Qualification which will enable you to have a greater understanding of dyslexia, explore a variety of dyslexia screening tools that are readily available and gain a greater understanding of what the results may indicate, in addition to exploring some practical solutions for dyslexia in the classroom.

Option of additional unit: Practical Solutions for Dyslexia- interventions and support CPD Level 2 Award

This unit explores a range of  1:1 based interventions and support (including a computer based programme), readily available for school staff to use with dyslexic pupils and will give a greater understanding of what constitutes an effective programme for those with dyslexia. It is not intended to replace support from a qualified dyslexia specialist teacher.
