It’s the Christmas Online Multi-sensory Workshop on Saturday 3rd December 10am.

Ages 7-11

Come along and Join Specialist Teacher Katie Nelson and the Dyslexia-Academy and Dyscalculia-Academy Team as the embark on a magical Christmas Workshop. Full of Christmas cheer, engaging multi-sensory strategies for spelling, maths, self-esteem boosting activities. A super way for children to meet other children who may have similar strengths and difficulties and not to forget all children can access a fabulous opportunity to win our Christmas bundle which includes a Barringdon Stoke Dyslexia Friendly Books voucher, a scooter and a Dyslexia is my Super Hero Teddy! * Supporting your child with the emotional repercussions of dyslexia and/or dyscalculia
*Using the Reading/scanning pen
*Use of ICT and technology to support learning
*Using Word Wasp Programme to develop reading and spelling
* Morph Mastery – morphological awareness to support reading and spelling
* Games to support students with dyscalculia
*Use of practical resources and maths manipulatives to support pupils with dyscalculia
